The TOEIC test measures English language skills and rewarded with a TOEIC Certificate. It tests listening comprehension, speaking skills, reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar knowledge, vocabulary, and overall language proficiency.

Meanwhile, the TOEFL test measures how well you write and speak English(English skills). It tests listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills.

You must have a score report of at least 550 points out of a possible 600(TOEIC Bridge) to pass the test.

The TOEIC® Listening and Reading tests is design to measure English language proficiency(international communication). They consist of multiple-choice questions based on listening comprehension and reading comprehension tests.

Also, listeners listen to records, conversations and read passages to answer questions on what is being discussed. Whereas readers must read short stories and complete exercises to determine how well they understand written material.

The overall scores range from 0 to 990 given for each test section. A passing score of The TOEIC Test Certificate is 780 points or better. Scores above 780 indicate high levels of ability; those below indicate low levels.

The TOEIC® Listing and Reading Tests have separate lists of acceptable answers.

The TOEIC certificate exists in five colors,: orange (0–219), brown (220–469), green (470–729), blue (730–859), and gold (860–990). TOEIC test certificates is optional, unofficial documents for display only .
